About the Coffee Pot Turkey Trot

The course loops around Coffee Pot Bayou, so you are running alongside the water for most of the route. The neighborhood streets are flat, and the surroundings are quiet at that hour on Thanksgiving morning. The race benefits North Shore Elementary, and that connection gives the whole event a genuine sense of purpose rather than a generic holiday run.
