About the Charlottesville Ten Miler
The route takes a rolling tour through Charlottesville, passing through the University of Virginia grounds, up along Rugby Road, down Preston Avenue, around Court Square, and through the Park Street neighborhoods before finishing by the Corner. It is a road race with real hills throughout, not a flat out-and-back, and the surroundings shift from campus architecture to historic downtown streets to residential blocks.

The Charlottesville Ten Miler has been held every year since at least 2011. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
