About the Charger Trot
The course starts in a high school athletic complex parking lot and loops around a lake before finishing on the track. One distance option covers the lake route; another stays on the track entirely. The terrain is gentle, and the track finish gives the end of the race a clean, contained feel.
Parking is available in the school lot, and there are doughnuts and drinks at the finish. The race benefits the athletic department of the school that hosts it, so the post-race crowd tends to be families and students connected to the program.
