About the Cere-bration Walk, Roll, Run Mount Vernon
This is a charity event centered on brain injury awareness, so the crowd includes survivors, caregivers, families, and supporters alongside runners. There is a timed route for those racing and a shorter fun walk for everyone else. The atmosphere leans toward celebration rather than competition, with a Survivor Celebration Zone at the finish area.
Lunch is served in the Celebration Zone after you finish, and there are raffles and team recognition on top of that. The event raises money for a statewide brain injury nonprofit's programs, so the fundraising side of things is as much a part of the day as the running.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.
