About the Knox County Suicide Prevention Coalition 5K/10K
The course runs through Ariel Foundation Park, where the setting is open and the park's tower is a visible landmark throughout. The race is built around remembrance as much as running; after the run, there is a memorial gathering where people bring photos of those they have lost, and the tower gets lit up as part of that.
Packet pickup happens race-morning at the Kiwanis Pavilion, which also serves as the start area. Parking is available at the Tower. The post-race memorial makes this an evening where many people stick around well past the finish line.
