About the 36th Annual Centennial School 5K Run / 2 Mile Walk

The course runs on the cross-country trails of a university campus, starting and finishing in front of a stadium. The terrain is natural and wooded rather than road pavement, which gives the whole thing a different feel from a typical road race. Dogs on leashes are welcome, so expect a few four-legged participants at the back of the pack.

Parking is off the main drive leading to the stadium, with accessible spots closer to the start. The race draws age-group awards across a wide spread of categories, and there is a raffle at the finish with prizes that include gift cards to nearby restaurants and local attractions.
