About the 2026 Veterans & Military Council 5K
The course runs on off-road grass through Bicentennial Park, so expect soft footing rather than pavement. There is a standard run/walk option alongside a rucking division, where participants carry weighted packs in tribute to military service. A shorter fun run option is also available for those who want something less structured. Pups need to stay home for this one.
The park has a dedicated parking lot off Colony Drive, and the directions in from the main roads are straightforward once you find Park West Lane. Check-in and race-day registration open in the morning before the start. The campus or business team that turns out the biggest group earns a traveling plaque, so there is a reason to recruit coworkers.
