About the Centennial Athletics December Dash

The course starts and finishes in the back courtyard outside the gymnasium at a local high school, so the surroundings are familiar and unglamorous in a good way. Proceeds go to the school's athletics department, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the race itself.

Packet pickup runs the morning before at the school's main office, with race-morning pickup available as well. Parking is in the student lot, reachable from a couple of nearby roads, and sits next to an elementary school next door.
