About the Celina Turkey Trot

The course runs through downtown Celina, so you are passing storefronts and street-level crowds rather than a park path. Thanksgiving-themed costumes are part of the culture here, and there is a prize for the best turkey outfit, which means the start line tends to look a little different than most mornings. Awards go deep into age groups for the longer distances.

Packet pickup happens at the Celina Police Department, with several windows across the days leading up to race morning. The race itself starts on Ohio Street in the heart of downtown.
