About the Celebration 5K / 10K
The course runs out and back along the sidewalk right beside the ocean at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. It is a road race in the flattest sense, and the water is essentially at your elbow the whole way. Because it is a non-scored event, there is no pressure to race it hard, though plenty of people do.
Packet pickup is available ahead of time at a pair of local running stores, with race-day pickup also an option. The finish is back at the beach park, and a breakfast spread waits there afterward.
