About the CDA Marathon
The course takes you along Lake Coeur d'Alene and through the downtown streets, so there is water in view for a good stretch of the run. The terrain is road, the setting is a resort town, and the course is Boston-qualifying certified. Aid stations are spaced regularly throughout, stocked with water, sports drink, gels, and gummy chews, with portable toilets at each one.
The organizers encourage runners to bring their own cups or bottles to cut down on waste along the course, though cups are still available at every station. First aid is posted at each aid station and at the finish line.
