About the Fall Festival & Run Like the Devil 5K + Fun Run
The course runs through the Kiawah River property, a large stretch of Lowcountry land where the trail takes you past marshes and trees turning with the season. The terrain is natural enough that all-terrain strollers are recommended, and dogs on leashes are welcome on the course. It is a trail race, not a road race, and the surroundings make that clear.
Race morning check-in opens at the start of the event, with packet pickup at the registration table. Parking has a split-entry system depending on when you arrive, so getting there before the start is worth it to avoid congestion. The race benefits Charleston Collegiate School, and the broader fall festival around it includes food trucks, live music, and a farmers market open to the public.
