About the Cary Greenways Tour
The course runs out and back on Cary's paved and natural greenways, starting and finishing at the Kiwanis Shelter. The surface mixes pavement with natural trail, so what you feel underfoot shifts depending on conditions that week. It is a point-and-return shape, which means you can see how far you have left on the way back.
The race benefits a parks scholarship program for youth sports in town, and there are several distance options if you want to tackle more than one event across the series. The start is staggered by distance, so longer races go off first and the courses close mid-morning.

The Cary Greenways Tour has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
