About the Carrboro 5K/10K

The course starts in front of a middle school, winds through downtown Carrboro and the surrounding neighborhoods, and finishes on the school's track. Both distances are USATF-certified. The route for the longer distance runs the neighborhood loop in the opposite direction from past years, which helps keep the two fields from overlapping on the road.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet in Carrboro, with race-morning pickup available as well. Several parking lots sit in front of the school, and another is accessible from behind. An additional lot at a nearby community park offers overflow parking if the closer ones fill.
