About the Caring Heart Center Pathway to Life 5K
The course follows a newly built multi-use path through Hays on an out-and-back route, turning around at Vine Street and retracing the same ground back to the start. The pavement is fresh and the path is wide, which makes it straightforward underfoot. Several distance options are available, from a short run-walk to the full 5K.
The race starts on Canterbury and benefits the Caring Heart Center, which supports parents facing crisis pregnancies. The start and finish are in the same spot, so there is no doubling back to your car at the end.
