About the Capitol Ford Santa Fe International Half Marathon
The half marathon runs point-to-point from a plaza east of downtown along Old Las Vegas Highway, finishing at the Railyard. The course passes through historic parts of the city, and the elevation and open terrain give it a character you notice in your legs. The shorter race stays close to the Railyard, looping through a community garden and a park.
A free shuttle carries half marathon runners from the Railyard out to the start each race morning, and you leave your car where you will finish. Sweat bags travel the same route by vehicle, so you are not stuck in cold gear at the start. Packet pickup and a health expo run at the old warehouse beside the Railyard the two days before.
