About the Cape Fear Haunted Wine Run 5k

The course runs through a vineyard and winery property outside Elizabethtown, so the scenery is rolling and agricultural rather than urban. The Halloween theme carries through the event, and there is a pour of wine at the finish. The winery's restaurant is open for early dinner afterward, and the property also has a distillery, a spa, and a small zoological area.

Packet pickup happens on race morning, starting an hour before the first wave goes out. Portable restrooms are on site, as the winery's indoor facilities are closed during the event. Age group awards are self-serve: check your results online after finishing and pick up your award at the registration table.
