About the Camp Boggy Creek 5K Fun Run and Gravel Ride
The 5K follows the trails at Camp Boggy Creek, a camp for children with serious illnesses, so the surroundings feel more like a summer camp than a road race. The terrain is mixed, moving through natural areas rather than pavement. Strollers are welcome, and the course has a water station along the way. No chip timing, just a clock at the finish.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the site, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. Pets are not permitted, service animals aside. After finishing, Outback Steakhouse provides a meal, and there is music and family activities. Parking is free on site.
