About the Caliente Bare Dare 5K
The course is a single loop through the grounds of a clothing-optional resort, passing running trails and lakes before finishing in front of the clubhouse. Clothing is optional throughout, with shoes being the one firm requirement. The resort attracts competitive runners alongside those just looking for an unusual morning out, and the finish area opens onto a large lagoon pool.
Race numbers are replaced by wristbands, which also serve as all-day access to the resort. The locker room is co-ed and available for storing your things, though you need to bring your own lock. After the race, the poolside party runs through the rest of the day, with music and several bars in the clubhouse nearby.
