About the CadeSTRONG 5K Run-and-Roll
The course runs out along the Silver Comet Trail from Nathan Dean Park and comes back the same way, so the finish is right where you started. It is a road surface with gentle rises near the river, nothing steep. This is an evening race, so you are running as the light drops, which changes the feel of it considerably.
After you finish, the park fills out with food trucks, inflatable rides, music, and games. There is also a raffle and an awards ceremony before the night wraps up. Parking is free in the lot at the park. Dogs on leashes are welcome if you are doing the shorter distance, but not on the main course.
