About the BVA Boosters Turkey Trot
The course loops through the streets of North Belle Vernon, with a few small hills mixed in along the way. It is a Thanksgiving morning race that benefits the local middle and high school sports teams, and the start area draws a range of ages, from young kids to older runners.
Parking is spread across a few spots near the start: a nearby market, the lower lot of a church across the street, and additional street parking in town. There is a Chinese auction and a hot chocolate bar at the race, along with age group and overall awards.
