About the Butts & Guts 5K
The course winds through Audubon Park, moving beneath the old oaks on a flat route that stays mostly on park paths. It is the kind of course where you can find a rhythm early and hold it, with shade overhead for most of the way. The race starts and finishes at one of the park shelters, keeping everything in one place.
Street parking runs along Magazine Street, with some spots inside the park as well. Post-race refreshments are set up at the finish area after the run.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
