About the Burn The Bird 10k, 5k and 1.33 mile Fun Run/Walk

Burn the Bird runs on Thanksgiving morning through Gibson Park in Great Falls. The shortest option is a single loop around the park, which keeps things approachable for families, while longer distances extend the route outward. The surroundings are a city park, so the terrain is smooth and the course stays flat throughout.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Race Montana headquarters, with race-morning registration available at the park before the first wave goes off. The start area is Gibson Park itself, so there is no travel between pickup and the start line on race day.
