About the Burn Boot Camp Gobble & Give 5K
The course starts outside a gym in Lorton, with strollers welcome alongside runners. The race benefits the Forsythe Foundation, so the crowd skews toward families with young children. A short kids run goes off first, then the main race follows, which gives the morning a gradual, unhurried pace. A warm-up session runs before the first start.
Packet pickup opens on race morning before the warm-up begins. An awards ceremony wraps up the event later in the morning, so there is reason to stick around after you finish.
