About the Burke Day For Life 5K and Fun Run

The course rolls out from a Baptist church and into open countryside at the foot of a mountain, passing through a working farm with cattle, cornfields, and a pumpkin patch. It is a genuine foothills run, with the kind of scenery that makes the miles feel shorter than they are. The terrain has some roll to it rather than being flat.

Packets can be picked up at the church before race morning, with race-day pickup also available. After the run, the celebration continues on site with food trucks, live music, and carnival games. There is also a farm store nearby where you can pick up local bread, cheese, and produce before heading home.
