About the 2027 Bunny Run 5K

The race starts on McCachern Blvd beside a county parking lot and follows the Downtown Connector Greenway, an out-and-back route through a greenway corridor. The course is straightforward, and the surroundings are easy on the eye. A festival runs alongside the race, with a food truck, face painting, a balloon artist, a DJ, and a chance to dance with the Easter Bunny.

Packet pickup runs as a drive-through at a local recreation center on the two evenings before the race, with additional pickup on race morning in the county parking lot next to the start line. The parking lot doubles as the festival hub, so the start area has some life to it before the gun goes off.

Common Questions About the 2027 Bunny Run 5K

Will I finish last at the 2027 Bunny Run 5K?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 36:15, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:08:40, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the 2027 Bunny Run 5K a good first 5K?

With 921 finishers there are runners at every pace, so you are never out on your own. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the 2027 Bunny Run 5K?

The 5K winner ran 17:25 while the median finisher took 36:15. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
