About the Bulldog 5K Sleigh Ride Fun Run/Walk
The course follows a trail around Skagit Playfields, named for a longtime high school distance coach. The route is a single loop on the trail, and the surroundings are open enough that you can see others ahead and behind. Cross country runners from the local high school lead the field out from the start, dressed as reindeer, which sets the tone for the morning.
Registration check-in happens the morning of the race at the course. Hot drinks are available at the finish, which is a welcome touch given the time of year.
