About the Building Futures Fun Run
The Building Futures Fun Run runs through Salt Lake City and welcomes runners, walkers, and everyone in between. Costumes are part of the culture here, and prizes go to the most creative ones, solo and group alike. The race benefits employment and job training programs for people with disabilities, so the cause is visible in how the whole morning is organized.
After the race, there is a genuine post-race scene: live music, local vendors, disability community partners, and a coffee and food spread from Lucky Ones Coffee. It is the kind of finish area where people actually stay a while.
