About the BUHL Day 5k
The course follows the Buhl Day parade route along East State Street, starting in front of an Eat'n Park restaurant and finishing inside Buhl Park near the casino. It is a flat road course, and the parade setup means spectators line the route the whole way, which makes the middle miles feel livelier than a typical road race.
Packet pickup is at a sandwich shop before the race. Parking is at the starting line, behind a shopping plaza, and a shuttle bus runs from the finish back to the start for a stretch after the race ends.
