About the Bucs Bounty 5K and 1mi Fun Run

The course runs on the Florida Southwestern State College campus, mixing paved roads, sidewalks, and parking lots beneath oak trees and alongside a lake. The shorter distance loops the lake and returns to the finish, while the longer route winds more broadly through campus. Beads are tossed to runners along the way, which gives the whole thing a bit of a parade feel.

Packet pickup is the evening before at the campus. The event benefits the collegiate high school that shares the campus, and wheelchair racers are welcome in the longer distance.
