About the Buckeye Trail
The course runs point to point through national park trails, starting at one trailhead and finishing at another. The terrain is what you'd expect from a longtime Buckeye Trail route: rooted singletrack, wooded and rolling, with no pavement to speak of. The shorter option covers the same ground as the longer race, just without doubling back.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
