About the Buck Rut Run
The course runs on the trails at Minocqua Winter Park, so expect natural terrain underfoot rather than pavement. It is a short trail race where you are weaving through wooded paths and feeling the ground change beneath you. The park setting gives it a quiet, tucked-away character that road races in town rarely have.
Bib pickup and race-day registration both happen at Minocqua Winter Park on the morning of the race, so there is no separate pre-race errand to run. Note that race-day registration only accepts cash or check. Food is set out after the finish.
