About the Brooklyn Rose Strong 5K
The course runs along the St. Cloud Lakefront, so there is water beside you for much of the route. The race is held in memory of Brooklyn Rose Medina, a child who died of a pediatric brain cancer, and the foundation that carries her name supports other families facing the same diagnosis. That context sits with you as you run.
The morning opens with packet pickup and registration, followed by a mascot meet-and-greet before the start. After the main race, a kids dash gives younger participants their own moment. An awards ceremony and raffle drawings wrap things up before a closing ceremony brings the morning to an end.
