About the Brooklyn PTA Fun Run for Schools 2026
The course follows the main park drive through Prospect Park, starting and finishing just outside the LeFrak Center. It is a single loop, mostly paved, and the surroundings are the kind of urban park that feels genuinely removed from the city around it. People run it, walk it, push strollers through it, and scoot it on small wheels. The pace spread is wide and the atmosphere matches.
Bib pickup and pre-race activities happen inside the LeFrak Center before the start, so there is a real indoor gathering point rather than just a parking lot. Registration fees support PTAs at high-need public schools in the area, which gives the morning a clear purpose beyond the run itself.
