About the Brookhaven Run Classic 5000

The course runs through a residential stretch, looping through a couple of quiet neighborhoods near the church where it starts and finishes. The terrain is about as flat as pavement gets, so if you are chasing a personal best on a fast surface, this course gives you a real shot at one.

Packet pickup runs across two evenings beforehand, one at a store in a nearby city and one at a Norman running shop. Race-morning pickup is also available for a short window before the start.
