About the Bradley Beach Turkey Trot
This is a Thanksgiving morning fun run in Bradley Beach with no bibs and no official timing. The route is short, costumes are encouraged, and turkey-themed getups fit right in. Proceeds go to a local organization that feeds people experiencing homelessness during the holiday season, so there is a clear reason behind the morning beyond the run itself.
The gathering point is the gazebo on the boardwalk at Ocean Ave, right along the water. Packet pickup runs the evening before at a nearby tavern, which the organizers strongly encourage to keep race-morning lines moving. Parking can be tight, so building in extra time before the start is a good idea.
