About the Boulder XC Series Meet 1

The meet is held at Valmont City Park on the south side, a spot well suited to cross country running. Several distance options are offered, spread across age groups from young kids to open adults, so there is usually a good mix of people out on the grass at different points in the morning.

The event runs in a fairly tight window, with each wave going off in sequence. Electronic timing is used, so splits and results are quick. The park has portable toilets on site. Mountain Lions club members run free; everyone else pays a modest fee that scales with age.
