About the Boise Plogs 2026
Boise Plogs is a plogging event, meaning participants run or walk a route while picking up litter along the way. You choose your own location around the city, whether that is along the greenbelt, through a neighborhood, or up in the foothills. There is no set course and no clock to beat, just a suggested minimum time out on your feet.
Plogging supplies are handed out at a Zamzow's garden and pet store on State Street in the days before the event week begins. Prizes go to the team with the most creative name, the person who hauls in the most unusual piece of trash, the biggest litter haul overall, and an overall MVP.
