About the Blueberry Dash 5K
The course runs out and back along South Shore Drive, a quiet residential road that follows the shoreline of Crystal Lake. Traffic stays on the road but is monitored by law enforcement throughout, and the pace of the neighborhood keeps things calm. Strollers and mobility devices are welcome, and the route works for anyone who wants to walk part or all of it.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the pavilion in Bellows Park, with a second window on race morning. Parking in the area is limited, so the organizers encourage carpooling and drop-offs. After the race, there is food and fellowship back at the pavilion.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
