About the Blake's Lyon Township Donut Dash 5k
The course runs on gravel trails through a family-owned orchard outside South Lyon, so there is some crunch underfoot and uneven footing in spots. Strollers can manage it, but it is not pavement. The surroundings are orchard rows and open farm land, and the fall timing means the trees are doing their thing.
Packet pickup is available the evening before the race at the orchard, or on race morning. The organizers suggest arriving early to allow time for parking and getting checked in. There are donuts and cider at the finish.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
