About the Blaine's Birthday 5K
This is a surprise birthday race, organized by friends and family to celebrate Blaine Wheeler's love of running. He thinks he is just showing up for a casual run with a friend. The course is meant to be a genuine effort, because the guest of honor appreciates a real challenge.
After the run, there is cake and a short celebration. A treat table is set up for everyone who comes out. The whole morning is built around the reveal, so the ask from organizers is simple: do not tip him off beforehand.
