About the Blackhawk Bolt 5K & Fun Run
The course starts on road and moves onto trail, all within the high school campus. That mix gives it a different feel from a straight road 5K, with a change of surface mid-run and the grounds of the school framing most of what you see along the way.
All proceeds go back to the school, which shapes the crowd. Parents, students, and staff tend to turn out, and the atmosphere on campus reflects that. The start and finish are both on school grounds, so there is not much to navigate.
