The Black Oak Challenge is an obstacle course event set in the foothill landscape around Black Oak Casino Resort, outside Tuolumne. The course tests participants through physical and mental obstacles rather than a straight road race. There is also a shorter family-friendly option with water obstacles aimed at kids. The terrain is rolling foothill scenery throughout.
