About the Black Men's Wellness Day 5K
The 5K here is one piece of a larger wellness day anchored at Renaissance High School. The course is open to runners and walkers both. The surrounding event is built around health, with free screenings, a kids area, and a pavilion set aside for older attendees, so the atmosphere before and after the race has more going on than most finish-line scenes.
The whole event runs through the morning, and the 5K starts after the wellness day is already underway. The school grounds host everything, so the start and the post-race activity are all in the same place.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Black Men's Wellness Day 5K has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
