About the Berry 15K & 5K
Both courses run on the Berry College campus, which is large enough that the longer route pushes out to a separate mountain campus and back. Deer are a regular sight along the way. The race is put on by the college's cross country team as a fundraiser, so the people organizing it know courses, and the campus setting gives the whole morning a certain quiet.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a local running store in Rome, which saves time on race morning. Parking on race day is in the lot near the start and finish area on campus. Age group awards go deep across both distances.
