About the Beer Mile - Halloween Edition
The course is a mile loop run in segments, with beer consumed between each leg. The race starts outside Woolley G's, so the atmosphere is more bar night than track meet. Costumes are encouraged, and most people show up in something, whether it is a full character build or just a plastic vampire cape thrown on at the last minute.
Packet pickup is not really a thing here. You register ahead of time, show up to Woolley G's before the start, and go from there. The event is free to enter, which makes the crowd a mix of serious beer milers and friends who got talked into it at the last minute.
