About the Beer Mile @ Cypress & Grove Brewery
The Beer Mile takes place at Cypress & Grove Brewing Company, so the course is essentially laps in and around the brewery. Each lap starts with a drink, and the format is the same whether you run the whole thing or walk it with a cold can in hand. Non-alcoholic beer is available, and the event raises money for a local youth rowing club.
The brewery is the start, finish, and social hub, so there is nowhere you need to be except right there. Spectators are part of the deal, and the atmosphere leans more toward a crowded taproom than a race. Age verification is required at the door.
