The course runs through Majette and Harders Park, staying flat the whole way. It is a scholarship fundraiser put on by the local FAMU alumni association, so the crowd skews toward students, families, and alumni with genuine stakes in the event. At some point on the course, volunteers douse runners with the school's orange and green colors.
