About the Bath Area Food Bank 5K Turkey Trot
The route starts at a downtown street corner and loops through the city, passing City Hall, a high school, a wastewater plant, and a stretch along the waterfront before swinging back uphill and then dropping back down Centre Street toward the finish. It is a road course with one real descent near the end, and the organizers seem genuinely delighted about it.
Dogs on leashes, strollers, and costumes are all welcome. There is water at the finish, and the organizers promise a loud welcome when you cross. Bathroom access on site is limited, so arriving with time to spare is a good idea.
