About the Bath Area Family YMCA Haunted Hustle 5K Walk Run & Kids Fun Run
The course loops through Bath, starting and finishing at the YMCA on Centre Street. Costumes are encouraged, and prizes go to the best-dressed along with age group awards, so the field tends to look more like a costume parade than a typical fall road race. The kids' route is short enough for the smallest participants to handle comfortably.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the YMCA welcome center, with race-morning registration available as well. After the race, the YMCA hosts a harvest festival on the same grounds, with bounce houses, open swim, pumpkin decorating, and other activities that give families a reason to stick around well past the finish.
